41, 42, 43, 44

I had this ready to go last week but apparently deleted it instead of publishing.  Oops!

Cameron loves craft time!  We try to do something new every morning after breakfast.  One of Cameron's favorite crafts is painting so we made watercolors.  I'm not sure if we will make them again.  They were fun to mix, but after he paints with them the cornstarch gets crumbly and falls off the paper.  I think we made them right, but it's more of a "paint and throw away" project.  Cameron always want to hang his projects on the wall so the homemade paints don't work well for that.

Gabe wants to do everything his brother does!

This was the first bath Gabe took that he didn't scream.  Cameron was so helpful. "Me wash baby!" I thought he meant with a washcloth.  I should've known that wasn't what he had in mind. Oops!

We had a great Easter visiting with Hubby's family and then with my grandma!

Bedtime is wild around here.  We sing "No more jumping on the bed!" with our family as the monkeys.  I sing about the jumping and Cameron sings the Doctor's part.   It is my favorite part of the day and not just because it means the wild monkeys are finally going to sleep!

Cameron is helping us get our garden started!  The summer kitchen is such a handy place to do the planting and keep the seeds.

I think Gabe's top teeth popped through this week.  Sometimes it gets hard to look because he likes to chomp my fingers when I put them by his mouth!

The boys have started waking up so early.  They used to sleep until 7:30 or 8, but now I'm lucky if we can stay in bed until 7!  Gabe doesn't sleep for more than a few hours at a time so I mostly feel like a zombie.  It's hard to be productive when all you want to do is take a nap.

Gabe loves to play peek-a-boo!

Gabe painted his first painting!  He wasn't a big fan, but I scared him when I wouldn't let him eat the paint.

36, 37, 38, 39, 40

Cameron and Gabe had ECFE once a week in February.  They loved going to school!  In fact, Cameron walked into the classroom and said "Bye Mom" on his way to the table where the other kids were sitting.  He didn't even give me time to take his jacket off!  We also got him registered for preschool in the fall!  I can't believe he's going to be three!

Cameron loves helping at church.

We've been having fun helping my dad make klubb!  It has been our Thursday afternoon project a few weeks in a row!

The snow is pretty much gone now, but Cameron and Gabe had a blast making snowmen.  I printed this picture off so Cameron could have a copy and he was so excited to hang it in his room.  We also put up a bunch of his paintings and he was so proud to have his art decorating his room.

We've been busy with lots of activities lately!  I joined the local MOPS and we made it to a babywearing meeting, too!  It's so nice that spring seems to be on its way.  Pretty soon we will be able to spend our days at the lake!

Gabe is so busy.  He still army crawls instead of going on his knees, but I don't blame him.  The wood floor is hard and slippery!

Cameron is talking up a storm. He's been repeating everything we say! He's been doing a great job using the potty.  I'm looking forward to when he's officially out of diapers!

Happy Thursday!!

How's your day going?

On a more optimistic note, I love that I left a clear footprint in my coffee mess.  My kitchen smells awesome now.  And I have really exciting packages coming on UPS today!

34 & 35

Gabe is so busy lately!  He sits really well on his own.  He army crawls as soon as he gets back onto the floor.  He loves to get into everything he isn't supposed to!  It's about time to get the gates back out! Today he was after Pepper's bone.  Yesterday each time I put him down he headed for the shower.  This morning we had an incident when Cameron dropped a chunk of Play-Doh and I didn't see it.  Gabe tried to eat it but it stuck to the roof of his mouth and made him throw up.  I had to wipe it off the roof of his mouth with a wash cloth.  Poor Cameron can't handle the sight of anything gross so he had to wait in the bathroom until we had everything cleaned up.

Cameron is saying new words every day! He has understood everything we tell him for a long time but refused to say the words. So it has been a lot of fun for everyone now that he can communicate with us!  He's still pretty stubborn but I think he likes it better when he can tell us what he needs!

Tomorrow Cameron has his (kind of) first day of school! I'm bringing him to an ECFE class.  I think he's going to love it.  While we are there I'm going to talk to them about getting him signed up for preschool!  I cannot believe he's already going to be old enough to go to preschool.  He's going to like that more than mommy will.

33 weeks

We had a big weekend visiting Cameron and Gabe's cousins.  It was so much fun!   The boys had a blast chasing each other around the house.

Here they are taking a quick break from chasing. :)

Both Cameron and Gabe were sleeping as soon as we left the driveway.  They were completely worn out from all the fun!

Gabe and Pepper were happy to be home.

Gabe turned 33 weeks today!  He's getting so strong.  He loves jumping and going in his walker.  He's still practicing crawling.  Today he got himself into plank position and hopped both feet forward. He thinks his brother is hilarious- especially when he's causing trouble.  Nap time is a struggle when Cameron is messing around and Gabe giggles every time I tell Cameron to stop!

We had to do pictures twice because Cameron wanted a picture in his new outfit.

26-32

Gabe had his 6 month appointment- he weighed 18 pounds!  We fed him his first solids a few days after his appointment!  He's tried a lot of different things since then and the only thing he didn't really like was cauliflower.

We all got sick between Christmas and New Years.  Gabe had his first two teeth pop through!  He ended up needing a visit to the doctor.  His first non well-baby visit. :(  poor buddy had croup.  At this appointment he weighed 19 pounds!  He gained a whole pound in a month!

He's working hard trying to figure out how crawling works.

Cameron had a blast sledding with Daddy.  Last year he was so scared to even sit on the sled but this year he went down the big hill all by himself!  He didn't want to come inside!

I'm not sure when it happened, but Gabe can sit on his own now!  I haven't been very good at keeping track of his milestones. At least I'm still taking weekly photos!

Cameron isn't interested in being in them, he would much rather help me take them.  He's turning into quite the little photographer!  He even took this photo!
