47, 48, 49, 50

Cameron and Gabe have turned into quite the early risers.  Gabe is usually up between 6-6:30.  Cameron sleeps a little longer than this, but I consider it a lucky day if he sleeps until 7:30!   Gabe says "Mama" now.  It's usually when he is mad or very tired and he says "MAMAMAMAMAMAMA" but I think it counts.  :)  I haven't been consistent in teaching him any signs.  I was better at that with Cameron.

I've been trying to be more intentional about spending one on one time with Cameron.  He really enjoys our morning picnics.  The grass in the pasture is getting a bit unruly so we've been spending more time in the summer kitchen.

For my Mother's Day present we fixed up the front garden and planted two trees!  We got two different flowering crab trees and I'm so excited for them to bloom.

The sand pile has been a big hit now that it is nice enough to play in.

We spent a whole morning trying to take a happy birthday picture for Grandma Carol.  You'd never guess that it took nearly a whole container of puffs to get them to lay still for 2 seconds.

Gabe has been pulling himself up on things for quite a while, but every once in a while I catch him standing on his own.  He hasn't tried taking any steps yet.

Gabe has decided he likes to be naked all the time.  I found him like this one morning and I'm thankful he only managed to pull one side of the diaper off so it was still under him!

Here is my finished garden!  It looks so much better now.  I was embarrassed last year when it looked like an overgrown jungle at the end of summer.

Cameron has been enjoying painting rocks to put in the garden.  I thought I could sneak into the kitchen to have a cookie by myself while he was painting, but he took the opportunity to try out body painting.

We've been going on park adventures lately and Cameron loves it!

Gabe still doesn't sleep very well at night, although last night we were only up twice!  We are so excited to spend more time outside.  Cameron hasn't napped for at least a week.  We were hoping that would make bed time easier, and it has, but by supper time he's usually in meltdown mode.  Hopefully we can figure out a better balance for him.
